I went to church every week for many years but I received true Grace 2-1/2 years ago when I was asked to lead a Bible study group and all of a sudden I had to learn the Bible and I found your sermon on Psalm 1 and have used your knowledge since then. I'm 74 years old so I spent many many years as a flaming hypocrite. Thanks so much for your work.

And the mention of the conversion of the thief on the cross. Only 3 hours in Jesus presence and he was saved. No confirmation classes or Bible study, no years and years of following Christ, yet he received salvation at the end and was to see Jesus in His kingdom that very day. One of my treasured doctrines.

I love what you said about the fact that Jacob's sons often opposed him while alive but were careful to honour him in death...Am I right to say that the reason for that could either be (1) his sons had truly repented or (2) they were only following the leading of Joseph who was going to honour his Father anyways.

I am American living in Taiwan with my Taiwanese husband. He tricked me into believing he became a Christian so that I would Matty him after 50 years here he still does not believe. Our 2 children will not go to church. They both have have and emotional problems. I was invited to teach Bible in English many years ago. It was a struggle for a long time because so much I couldn't understand. When I learned how to Google questions and get sermons on UA-cam, I found your commentary and sermons. My life began to improve. I continue to learn as I teach. Taiwanese read and speak traditional Chinese. Chia uses simplified Chinese .Has your commentary been translated into both? And please pray for my family and my classes.

This chapter mentions the house of Caleb which means dog as you mentioned. Look at the previous chapter: [1 Samuel 24:14 KJV] After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.

the most recent example of corrupt leaders and the symbol of a corrupt priest comes when Biden rubs his head against the head of the pope. You have to wonder about the ego of these two men, one running what used to be the greatest country in power and the other the head of 1.4 billion people, and what was that all about, absolution? You are making a distinction with out a difference. The New Testament and Apostolic church are one and the same. The gospel that Stephen preached in acts chapter 7 is the same gospel that the Apostle Paul wrote to the churches.

Right from the get-go, you are off point and in error! Let me be blunt and direct as I explain! 1 John 3:16, in most versions, start out like this, such as the 'New International Version: 'This is how we know what love is: or from the English Standard Version, 'By this we know love,'! This comes from the VATICANUS papers, a proven corrupt bunch of texts from the Catholic Churches! What the text says from the RECEPTUS TEXTUS is this: Hereby perceive we the love of God....! Most of these books with the words, "Holy Bible" imprinted on them aren't 'HOLY' at all! They are man's interpretation of what they want it to say, or what they think it SHOULD say! This is twisting God's word, and make it say something that God actually didn't say, or God didn't say it THAT WAY! Now, I prefer the good old King James Bible! It reads the verse thusly: 1 John 3:16: Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. It say in plain English that God laid down His life for us! Oh, but I can hear you say already that God cannot die! Read the verse again, please! Read it as many times as it takes to make it sink in what it's saying! GOD LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR US! The corrupt perversions, such as the New International Version and the New Living Translation, have inserted the name of Jesus into that verse! What does Revelation 22 say about adding and taking away from God's word? "But", you say, " in John 3:16 it says that Jesus died for us! How then can God die for us?" Jesus is the VISIBLE embodiment of the INVISIBLE God! God is a SPIRIT, not a personage! The Holy Ghost is a SPIRIT, not a personage! They are both SPIRITS, they are both ONE AND THE SAME SPIRIT BEING, living within the HUMAN body called Jesus Christ! This is something that the Trinity Doctrine and it's believers cannot fathom! But it's a fact! Here is another good reason why I burned my NIV: 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. This is taking from the good old King James Bible! Now let's read it from the NIV: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. WHAT? Do your best?? WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO STUDYING TO BETTER YOUR UNDERSTANDING! Doing your best isn't good enough! Even in school, if you do your best, you may still fail the test, UNLESS YOU STUDY for it! THINK ABOUT THIS FOLKS!
